Where to start? The hotel is located in the village of Akrotiri in the south of the island, which is somewhat less popular with tourists than Thira or Oia. What this means is that you will be staying in a beautiful hotel located in a quiet village, with the most stunning view of caldeira out your room. The room itself is more of a Cyclades-style white house, which adds to the authenticity of the experience. The fantastic Charis (hotel manager) was there for every question/request that we had: he helped us rent our car, gave us dozens of suggestions for places to visit, and recommended the best restaurant we went to on the island. Kalestesia Suites (and Santorini) were hands down the highlight of our stay in the Cyclades.

We were warmly welcomed to kalestesis suites. Thanos was very nice and helpful with recommendations where to go visit and eat. The hotel is a bit remote but we rented a car which saved us. The rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast was excellent! Gigantic omelette ! Very pleased with our stay.

Kalestesia Suites is a gem of a place tucked away from the main parts of the island. It is on top of a hill and offers fabulous views of the whole island. You could hire a car if you will be exploring the island i.e. Oia and Thira otherwise there are local buses that are meant to run every half hour to Fira. The food is absolutely delicious. The pasta with prawns was amazing and breakfast was really good and generous. The room was really nice and clean and had fabulous views of the Caldera.

We visited Kalestesia Suites while on a trip celebrating our 30th anniversary. We had been hoping to visit the Greek Islands for years. When you build up something in your mind for so long it is hard not to fear that it won't meet your expectations. There really isn't one thing we would change about our stay. Our accommodations were beautiful and clean. The bed was comfortable and the view over the caldera was amazing. It is not located in the main cities, but they were a short drive away, which we found preferable. The management was professional, warm, and accommodating. They gave us lots of great sight seeing, dining and beach going suggestions. We came away relaxed and refreshed. We recommend the Kalestesia Suites enthusiastically and without hesitation.

Breathtaking views! Staff is top notch! "Everything about this place is amazing! From the moment we sat down with the host, we knew this place was going to be awesome! The host goes above and beyond anything we have experienced! And we travel frequently. The host made us feel comfortable and very welcomed! He made sure that we were taken care of. We got a superior room with hot tub and a caldera view and we felt like rock stars! Incredible view from our patio! All the staff were exceptional. Our waiter, the chef, the maid, even the maintenance guy made us feel so special. The food is amazing! The chef makes mouth watering meals. Also the onsite spa is quite nice. I can't say enough good stuff about this place... you will not regret staying here!"
